Social Post System: Platform-Native Content

Facebook Posts

Critical Rules:

  • No hook line as the opening — do NOT start with a clickbait question or contrived opener
  • Short paragraphs: 1-3 sentences max per paragraph
  • No em dashes (—) — use commas or periods instead
  • Emojis inline with text, not as bullets
  • End with a CTA that feels natural, not forced

Format:

[Opening statement — direct, conversational, not "hook-y"]

[2-3 sentence paragraph]

[Another short paragraph]

[CTA — natural, not "click the link below"]

Voice: Friendly business owner talking to a neighbor. Not a marketer talking at an audience.

LinkedIn Posts

Rules:

  • First line = the hook (appears before "see more" cutoff)
  • Short paragraphs with line breaks for scanability
  • No corporate jargon
  • Use numbers: "3 things", "5 mistakes", "in 2 steps"
  • End with a question to drive comments OR a direct CTA
  • 150-300 words for standard posts; 800+ for thought leadership

Hook formulas:

  • "I made a mistake that cost me [X]."
  • "[Number] things I wish I knew about [topic]."
  • "Everyone talks about [X]. Nobody talks about [the real thing]."
  • "Hot take: [contrarian opinion]."

Format:

[Hook line — maximum 1 sentence]

[1-2 sentence context]

[3-5 bullet points or short paragraphs]

[CTA or question]

X/Twitter

Rules:

  • 280 character limit per tweet
  • Threads: 5-12 tweets for long-form ideas
  • Tweet 1 = hook (the only one people see in feeds)
  • No unnecessary filler in thread openers
  • End threads with a single CTA tweet

Thread Structure:

Tweet 1: [Hook — the provocative claim or promise]
Tweet 2-9: [One idea per tweet, build the argument]
Tweet N-1: [Restate the key insight]
Tweet N: [CTA — follow, share, or link]

Hook formulas for X:

  • "Here's what nobody talks about when it comes to [topic]:"
  • "I studied [X thing] for [Y time]. Here's what I found:"
  • "[Contrarian claim]. Here's the data:"
  • "Most [audience] do [common thing] wrong. Thread:"

BMM Distribution Rules

When using BMM (Brand Media Manager) API for scheduling:

  • POST /posts with platform array for multi-platform scheduling
  • Always review platform-specific copy before posting — one message doesn't fit all
  • Facebook copy ≠ LinkedIn copy ≠ X copy
  • Schedule platform-native versions, not reposts of the same text

Content Syndication Machine

One piece of flagship content generates 10 platform outputs:
