Semantic Revenue Analyzer: Content-to-Conversion Audit
Audits existing content against revenue outcomes. Not vanity metrics — conversion signals, semantic coverage, and E-E-A-T compliance. Output is a ranked fix list with estimated impact, not a report that gets filed and forgotten.
Step 1: Input Collection
Gather before running the analysis:
- Target URL or full page text
- Primary keyword (the one page is supposed to rank for)
- Secondary keywords (3-5)
- Current ranking position (if known)
- Conversion goal: lead form, call, purchase, email capture
Step 2: Semantic Coverage Score
Score the page across 5 semantic dimensions (0-10 each):
| Dimension | What to Check | Weight | |-----------|--------------|--------| | Topical depth | Does it cover every subtopic the primary keyword implies? | 25% | | Entity density | Are relevant named entities (brands, people, places, tools) present? | 20% | | NLP keyword coverage | LSI terms, related phrases, question variants | 20% | | Buyer journey alignment | Does content match search intent (informational/commercial/transactional)? | 20% | | Answer completeness | Does it directly answer the query in the first 150 words? | 15% |
Total semantic score: Sum × weights. Score below 6.5 = rewrite required.
Step 3: E-E-A-T Signal Audit
Check each signal. Mark PRESENT / MISSING / WEAK:
Experience:
- [ ] First-person case study or direct observation
- [ ] Specific date of experience referenced
- [ ] Outcome reported with actual numbers
Expertise:
- [ ] Author credentials stated or linkable
- [ ] Methodology explained, not just conclusions
- [ ] Technical specificity beyond what a layperson would write
Authoritativeness:
- [ ] External citations to recognized sources
- [ ] Internal links to supporting content
- [ ] Stats attributed to named sources
Trust:
- [ ] No factual errors detectable
- [ ] Dates accurate and current
- [ ] Sources linkable and live
Step 4: Conversion Signal Audit
Revenue killers hiding in "good" content:
| Signal | Present? | Fix Priority | |--------|----------|-------------| | CTA above the fold | Y/N | Critical | | CTA at end of content | Y/N | Critical | | Phone number or contact link | Y/N | High | | Urgency or scarcity element | Y/N | Medium | | Social proof (reviews, numbers, names) | Y/N | High | | Objection handling before CTA | Y/N | Medium | | Clear next step stated | Y/N | Critical |
Step 5: Revenue-Ranked Fix List
Output format — order fixes by estimated revenue impact:
FIX 1: [What to change]
WHY: [Semantic/E-E-A-T/conversion signal it addresses]
ESTIMATED IMPACT: [High / Medium / Low] — [one-line reasoning]
EFFORT: [<1 hour / 1-3 hours / full rewrite]
FIX 2: ...
Priority rules:
- Missing CTAs → always Fix 1-2
- Answer incompleteness in first 150 words → Fix 1-3
- Missing E-E-A-T signals on commercial pages → Fix 2-4
- Semantic coverage gaps → Fix 3-6
Step 6: Quick Win Checklist
Before scheduling a full rewrite, run these quick wins first (30 min or less each):
- [ ] Add direct answer to primary query in paragraph 1
- [ ] Insert CTA after paragraph 3 and at end
- [ ] Add one stat with attribution
- [ ] Add subheading every 200 words if missing
- [ ] Bold the key takeaway sentence in each section
- [ ] Add FAQ section targeting 3-5 PAA questions
